Authentic Italian Cuisine that’s in your neighborhood

Come and enjoy a real Italian restaurant where tradition and innovation meet in upscale comfort. The Delliturri family provides Italian ancestry and local Hunterdon County family spirit, encased in a warm and inviting setting surrounded by soft lighting , and comfortable tables to thoroughly enjoy the food.

A lot has changed in Hunterdon County since Steve and his family opened Tuscany Grill, but the family’s mission has never wavered: warm, familiar faces, and delicious, consistent food at reasonable prices.

The menu is authentically inspired by Italian cuisine, but as food is born of the region, Tuscany Grill strives to stay true to their relationships with local growers. They also vigorously shop for the freshest veal, beef, chicken, and seafood. The bar is always well stocked, as is the wine cellar.

“To Italians, eating sustains more than the body. Dining at Tuscany Grill is intended to inspire conversation and evoke memories. That’s why we strive to create a great experience for people who love food.”

For over two decades, Tuscany Grill has earned a reputation for bringing people together and making them feel like family. With the help of a devoted staff, many of them members of the Delliturri family, the restaurant has nurtured a clientele of very loyal regular customers. Steve and his family would love to make an introduction to people new to the area or simply visiting.

Steve Delliturri of Tuscany Grill

Steve Delliturri

Food has always been a big part of the Delliturri  family, especially given that Steve’s father was a farmer and grew olives, artichokes, and other delicacies. When his father was tragically killed in an accident, his sister took him into her home in Brooklyn (their Mother died when Steve was very young).

In his teens, Steve worked in pizzerias around New York, learned the trade well, and saved his money. In 1985 he opened his first restaurant and for 19 years honed his kitchen and business skills, bringing the great flavor of Italy to customers throughout central New Jersey.

Steve opened Tuscany Grill in 2004, updating an existing building and creating a diverse menu and a comfortable atmosphere. The consummate professional, Steve constantly experiments with recipes and has developed relationships with many local sources and distributors, to maintain the high quality of his ingredients.

“Everything I’ve ever eaten at ‘Tuscany Grill tastes like a grandma cooked it! The atmosphere is immigrant Italian and the service is warm, bright, and helpful!

TuscanyGrill has become our favorite “go to” place for great Italian food. We like to sit at the bar, as their bartender is a great guy. The food is consistently good and the menu has something for everyone. We will be back, again and again.

We really enjoyed our meal and their wine selection was very good. The Veal Saltimbocca and the Pasta with Clams were delicious. Must have is the fried calamari, which was nicely crisp (ask for the spicy sauce!). We didn’t try dessert (too full!) and look forward to coming back and trying that, too.

This place has one of those locations that you would drive right on by unless you were going here specifically. Don’t be fooled. The food here is very good and the portions are large. Overall, this is a very good restaurant.

Exceptional food, gorgeous bar & wood burning oven! Service was outstanding….from hostess, bartender, wait staff, owner/cook! Prices are reasonable & atmosphere is very comfortable. Best food in this area! Check them out- Delliturri’s will become your favorite place to dine!

We have been going here frequently for the last year or so on the recommendation of a friend – and it’s great every time. The atmosphere is nice, very family friendly and the food is fresh. Most everything on the menu is good, but the bruschetta is a must have! Made to perfection with awesome fresh bread. The brick oven pizza is solid too.

My wife and I traveled Tuscany and find the food here to be every bit as good as what we enjoyed there.
